What is a Working Holiday visa?
A working holiday visa gives young people (usually 30 year-olds and under) the chance to live and work abroad between 6 months to 2 years. Which country you can do a working holiday in depends on where has a scheme set up with your country.
Working holidays are a great opportunity to live abroad and experience a different lifestyle and culture for a longer period of time than a normal holiday. Depending on how you go about it, you can also return from the experience without being out of pocket, although many people don’t return at the end of their working holiday (we will be exploring what options there are to stay in New Zealand and Australia for longer).
Globelopers is a working holiday website that focuses specifically on working holiday opportunities for US and UK citizens, and aims to provide a range of information to help you prepare for an incredible year living abroad.
